MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS (all pricing is inclusive of GST)                            at February 16, 2023

 

                    ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS

Annual Adult (or Annual Adult and Junior)        Annual Junior

An individual Annual Adult member may elect to have one Junior attached to their membership at no additional cost.  Juniors must be age 18 and under, and reside in the Adult Annual Member’s family home in the qathet Regional District.

Membership benefits include:

* Unlimited court bookings at no additional court booking rate (subject to current court booking rules).

* Access to free or discounted member-only round robin and other drop-in events.

* Membership in the Powell River Sport and Fitness Society with voting rights for adults aged 19+.

 

                    HOURLY MEMBERSHIP

This option has recently been capped at 30 memberships and is full for the foreseeable future.

Adult or Junior (age 18 and under)

$100 per year + $8/session.  This is a savings from the guest rate of $12/session.

Membership benefits include:

* Access to member-only round robin & other drop-in events (at a discounted court booking rate or advertised fee).

* Membership in the Powell River Sport and Fitness Society with voting rights for adults aged 19+.

 

 

                    INTRODUCTORY MEMBERSHIP

​

A three month term available to local residents with a permanent address in the qathet Regional District who have not previously had a PRSFS membership; this is a one time only offer per person.

                                           The Fine Print

Membership terms are rolling, or anniversary-based.  An annual or hourly membership begins on the start date selected by the member and is valid for 365 days.  For example, an annual or hourly membership purchased on October 15, 2023, will expire on October 14, 2024.  In the case of a three month introductory membership, the membership term expires on the anniversary date of the third month.

Prospective members under the age of 19 must have their membership application registered by a parent/guardian who accepts the waiver of liability on their behalf.

Juniors who are 12 years of age or younger, must be supervised by an adult when playing at the centre, and their courts must be booked by the parent named on their registration.

 

                                      Court Booking Rules

Members may book courts up to fourteen days in advance.

Courts are available to book from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. each day, 365 days per year.

Courts are available to book in 30 minute increments and may be booked for a minimum of 30 minutes up to a maximum of 120 consecutive minutes (i.e., ½ hour to 2 hours).

An individual member may book one court only for a specific time frame. If more than one court is needed for a larger group get-together (more than 4 players) then another member must book the second court. If a third court is also necessary, then a third member would need to book the third court.
